These are definitely one of my favorite lures for catching bass. The all silver one caught me 8 in under an hour. Top notch quality for a great price, my tackle box will always have some rooster tails in it.

I have used the Rooster Tail for a number of years. And it continues to be the most productive. Be it Bass, Crappie, Panfish, or whatever. You can't go wrong with this Classic!!!

I just picked up that color and i am wondering if it will catch fish effectively as well as what water conditions to use it in, what ways to retrive it, etc?Answers
A:Â
honestly, any of them work well anywhere, just let it sink and slowly reel/jerk and it catches fish left and right.A:Â
works in any water conditions.i think the best colors are white and yellow. ive been using them for over 40 yearsA:Â
LOL, it's not a lure. It's a storage tool for rigs with leaders. You attach the loop or swivel to the rubber tit rap the leader in a coil around the tube and stick the hook in the rubber after it's all wound up.A:Â
Try using neutral colors (such as color 54) in more clear water situations. Using attractor colors are great when facing stained or muddy water situations. As for presentations, allow the fish to help you decide. These can be fished on a steady retrieve, a stop and go motion, or even a jigged retrieve.1 of 1
