Worden's Original Rooster Tail - 1/4 oz.
Classic Rooster Tail
Very versatile lure: I've used these lures to catch everything you can imagine -- lots of bass and bream in freshwater and even stingrays in saltwater. Fish will often take these when they won't bite anything else. I personally like the black and white varieties.
There are two downsides to this lure. The first is their weight -- even in the heavier varieties, they are hard to cast even with a slight wind. Often times they will fall short or else blow off to the side.
The other problem I've found with these lures is that they don't hold up to fish well -- I landed a tiny, half pound bass on one and it bend the wire, which stopped the spinner from working (making the lure useless). I landed a mid-sized crappie on another and it bent the wire even more. I had to throw away both lures after only catching one fish on each.

great lure for white bass
White bass couldn't resist this lure.Fishing bright sunny days and using colors 04,05,20 and 94 limited out every time.Caught the biggest on the 04 (2lbs 1 oz) and the most on the 20 color.Although my favorite is the 94 color-i'm not kidding every cast on this i caught one-i didn't want to lose it so i retired it and stuck with the other three. The pins got a little bent and the paint chipped a little but after straightening out the pin they still caught fish.Used both a fast and a slower steady retrieve-both worked. It seems like the 1/4 oz attracts the bigger fish most of the fish caught were between 1lb and 2lb
