Worden's® Original Rooster Tail® - 1/4 oz.
Heres where it starts
I still have the first lure i ever got. It was a rooster
tail. These spinners have worked for me on many
occasions. I have caught trout, bass, perch and
panfish on the 1/4 oz size. They will work in almost
all presentations (trolling, casting, burning) but
they will not work every time you use them.

Worden's Rooster Tail is one of the most versitile baits on the market. They come in a wide variety of colors, sizes, and blade finishes, not to mention they catch fish. Any one can learn to fish with one of these baits, give them a try and you wont be sorry you did.

Classic Rooster Tail
Very versatile lure: I've used these lures to catch everything you can imagine -- lots of bass and bream in freshwater and even stingrays in saltwater. Fish will often take these when they won't bite anything else. I personally like the black and white varieties.
There are two downsides to this lure. The first is their weight -- even in the heavier varieties, they are hard to cast even with a slight wind. Often times they will fall short or else blow off to the side.
The other problem I've found with these lures is that they don't hold up to fish well -- I landed a tiny, half pound bass on one and it bend the wire, which stopped the spinner from working (making the lure useless). I landed a mid-sized crappie on another and it bent the wire even more. I had to throw away both lures after only catching one fish on each.

LOL, it's not a lure. It's a storage tool for rigs with leaders. You attach the loop or swivel to the rubber tit rap the leader in a coil around the tube and stick the hook in the rubber after it's all wound up.
Try using neutral colors (such as color 54) in more clear water situations. Using attractor colors are great when facing stained or muddy water situations. As for presentations, allow the fish to help you decide. These can be fished on a steady retrieve, a stop and go motion, or even a jigged retrieve.
