This call is, undoubtedly, my favorite call AND my go-to call...has been for years. I knew the owner when he was still working out of his basement. And even though his quantity has escalated over the years, his calls have not changed. The tape he uses is the softest tape on any call out there, home made or store bought. They last the longest, the reeds have never stuck together on me, no matter the weather.
I have owned all of his mouth calls at least one time. This call, Ive owned four or five times over the years. And the one I bought from Bass Pro has the same consistency, the same sound, and the same quality, as the call I bought from him out of his home years ago. Thanks Mike, and thanks Bass Pro!

The call has good rasp and volume. This was the 1st mouth call that I had used to get a gobbler to walk straight into the end of my Mossberg. This call was a long time favorite amongst the selection of mouth calls made by Woodhaven. The V3 is still one my favorites to run. It definitely won't hurt you if had it in your turkey vest.
