These boots are great right out of the box. They are comfortable, waterproof. walked through some marsh area and they kept my feet warm and dry. I highly recommend them. Did quite a bit of walking and never had to break them in.

I bought these boots on sale in September. Finally got to use them for turkey, and quail season. These boots live up to the excellent reviews by others. Very comfortable without a break in. I wear Redhead lifetime socks with them and they fit perfect. Would definitely recommend these boots, and buy another pair when I wear these out.

These boots were very comfortable right out of the box. The down side is they are not that warm. I stand hunt in Ohio and after an hour in low 30 degree temps I can feel the cold.
I would recommend these for early season use.

Purchased these boots for my son and so far they have been great. No break in required and no wet feet. Can't speak on their wear and tear because we haven't had them long enough. He loves them and im considering a pair for myself.

Could not find any info for this in other hunting boots either ! Why is this not available?Answers
A:
Depends on the person. I use a thick Merino wool boot sock and I have hunted in 15-20 degree weather with no problem. However, my hunting buddy has 1000g thinsulate boots and he says his feet freeze in them. To me the 600g thinsulate helps it be a better year-round boot.A:
GENERALLY IN THE 20'S, BUT WITH PROPER SOCKS EVEN LOWER TEMPS.A:
Comfortable is subjective. It's hard to develop a rating for warm because the definition of warm is different for every person.3M gives the following recommendation for grams of Thinsulate in footwear.
200 grams* for cool conditions or high activity levels – Recommended for work boots, hiking boots, rubber bottom boots, hunting boots, snowboard boots, alpine ski boots, or athletic winter boots.
400 grams* for cold conditions or moderate activity levels – Recommended for rubber bottom boots, hiking boots, PAC boots, hunting boots, or work boots.
600 grams* for very cold conditions – Recommended for hiking boots, work boots, hunting boots or PAC boots.
800 grams* for extremely cold conditions with light activity levels – Recommended for hunting boots, PAC boots, or work boots.
1,000+ grams* for extremely cold conditions with light to minimal activity level – Recommended for unique applications requiring additional insulation.
