The pants seem to shed water very well. Haven't been able to wear them in a true rainstorm yet, but look forward to see how they do in the bad weather.
The only thing I was disappointed in was how much Bass Pro charged for shipping. At the same time though, they did get to my house in reasonable time.
Good deal for the quality of the pants which could probably work as good wind breakers or ski pants as well.
