Rated 5 out of 5Â by KQ700 Great Shell
I have been using Estate and Kent Steel Shot shells. I have had numerous firings where unfired powder and wad particles would blow back in my eyes. It was very annoying. I switched to these Winchester shells and this problem went away immediately. Since I shoot a semi auto not having stuff blow back in my face is very nice. I also notice when cleaning my gun the barrel looked like I had not shot anything.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by MugNivek Great purchase
The prices I've paid were reasonable and shippment was pretty quick. Since I live some many miles away from the nearest basspro,I would've liked to have ordered a little more. However, available in stores only for some orders kept me from buying more at good prices. ...understandable. Maybe there'll be a chance when I'll be able to order more when inventory comes back up. I still have one more order coming in, but so far so good.

plastic or paper. and are these shells waterproof?Answers
A:Â
They have a plastic wad and yes the shell is "waterproof". Winchester uses a wad that completely seals off the powder from and outside water. Hope this helped.A:Â

I use a full choke for #2-#6 steel. A modified choke for BB-T steel. And an Extra full choke for shot #6 1/2 or smaller steel. Hope this helps.A:Â
Improved cylinder should give you a good pattern for over decoys up to 35 yards or so, beyond that modified is probably best. Make sure your gun and chokes are ok for steel! Pattern your gun!A:Â
Never use anything tighter than Modified with steel shot. I use either Mod. or Improved Cylinder depending on how I am hunting. Modified will pattern like a Full choke shooting lead.1 of 1
