I'm the kind of person that puts a lot of use on my equipment, so when I got this tool I though it'd be a decent little thing to have laying around when I don't have anything else,(which it could do if you want.) However, i've had it fo about a half a year now and its blown away my expectations. Its handy, efficient, and it looks awesome. I've used it to assemble a coat rack, cut mullet for bait, de-hook fish, and so many other things I can't even count. The only real flaw, and it is a minor one, is that its not really resistant to salt, at all. But if you take care of it and give it some oiling once and a while, it'll hold up fine for everything else. Also, the sheath could be a little more durable.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by CasualAdventurer Quality / Low Cost Multi Tool
Compared to many other multi tools this is significantly cheaper. Initial feel for the tools and general manufacture is not as nice as competitor brands such as Gerber & Leatherman. The tools can be a little difficult to access, but this gets better with age, use and some lubrication. Also the tools do not lock open. I have owned a Winchester Winframe multi-tool for 2 years and have found it in practice to be more rust resistant than my Gerber multi tool which I have owner for nearly 10 years. The blades also seem to be stronger, with no breakage or damage to any tool, whereas my Gerber tool has suffered both broken pliers and screwdriver blades. (I have owned 2 Gerber tools - both had breakages) - So while the initial feel of the Winchester is cheaper and lower quality, in practice this tool has yet to break or let me down. It might not feel as nice as a $100 leatherman when opening the tools, but it is certainly a good value product with sturdy, high quality manufacture.
