These are the best .17 HMR rounds I've ever used in my Savage bolt action. One shot kills out to measured 140 yds. Outstanding accuracy!
Where can I get some more??? Theye are nearly impossible to find!

I recently bought a lot of this ammo, not knowing how it would shoot. But living in California I don't have very many options. So far, I'm beyond please with these rounds. I have shot over a hundred rounds through 2 different CZ's. A 455 and a 452. Booth rifles are shooting 3/4 inch MOA at one hundred yards. Not one misfire or any other issues. If you live in CA don't pass this up. I rate this 5 stars without thinking about it.

I bought several boxes of Winchester 17s different grains FMJ and soft point. I have a Henry lever action 17 and have had no problems with CCI or federal rounds but all the Winchester rounds seem to be too big for the loading tube on my Henry rifle. Winchester makes very good ammo for all my other guns but not for the 17. Maybe for a single shot or revolver.

I've shot the Winchester version of the lead free 17HMR ammunition in both a Ruger 77/17 and a CZ Model 452. Both have given me very good results, with no issues. For those of us here in California that have to deal with the lead free zone, it is a great option to shoot small game and varmints! - Eric
