Winchester® USA Handgun Ammo
Value means more than price
I ran 300 rounds through my 1911 in two days at a defensive firearms training course. So far I have run about 700 of these rounds through my Gold Match.
It is also obvious to me that the accuracy is better than other brands. The impact point of a double tap using the Weaver stance and a slow, methodical point-in was the size of a quarter at 30 feet.
The cleanliness of this round is obvious as it took less cleaning than other brands, but you could tell by looking at the stainless muzzle end of the weapon - much cleaner than others.
In addition, after having tried three other brands I have determined that for me, for training rounds, this version is most consistent. I actually question other brands Quality Assurance programs.

Winchester white box hasn't let me down yet. The box I picked up had no jacket or core separations, no pierced primers, no split casing, no failure to fire, no underpowered loadings and all grouped well. At 5 yards from a sr1911 I had 1 1/2 inch groups with three shots fired, at 10 they opened to 2 inches, at 15 yards 3 inches. After 9 shots I figured that was a good enough shooting session and cleaned my .45. After firing those 9 shots left a 1/32 thick powdery film inside the gun which wasn't sticky and easily whipped away with a finger. For just plinking and maybe pistol hunting these arn't bad loads.

This has been the dirtiest ammo I have ever shot out of my Glock 19. The whole front of the gun was covered in muck.
There was also a person next to me with a .44 magnum shooting these, he had about 10 hangs in 4 boxes.

This Winchester white box ammo in 9mm is all I buy for shooting @ the range. No failures of any kind in well over 1000 rounds in Glock, Ruger P series and M&P. Accurate, dependable and suprisingly clean. At this price, this ammo allows a person to work on fundamentals all day without breaking the bank.
