patterned these winchester western 3" number 6 shot 2oz loads 17 yrs ago when i first went hunting turkeys.i have shot 7 birds in 17 years and the closest was 15 yds and the longest three kills were 31 yds,46 yds,and this years shot of 53 yds.the bird dropped right where i shot him.this turkey load has worked consistently for myself and my hunting partner.my partner has also shot two birds at a distance of 46 yds and 54 yds in the past.we have several boxes of these because 17yrs ago we feared they would not be around or somehow would change.these are the hardest hitting 3" i have ever shot and maybe there's something better developed today but it's pretty hard to argue on the performance of these shells!

Bought these and two other brands with the intent of doing some pattern shooting before turkey season. I didnt get a chance to do so I just grabbed the first brand I saw. This just happen to be the one and opening day I dropped a gobbler @ 30 yrds. Using 20ga #5.
