I shot these through my MAV88 18inch bbl. and it is accurate even with a pistol-grip, just awsome.

The first time I racked a shell into my Rem 870 Tactical, it made a sound like all others, just slightly heavier. When used on range, great whollop of a punch. Patterns are tight if u control for kick, keep muzzle pointed tight on target and watch it blow to smitherines. Great control for urban ops training.

Finally got a chance to test fire a box of these out of my Over/Under. Even before I checked the target - based upon my own shoulder I knew I didn't want to be on the wrong side of this load!! It kicks like a mule (at least in my gun), but, it's not too much that everyone in my family couldn't handle it (including my 11 y/o daughter). In a self defense setting - this would be absolutely devestating! (I've even heard of some people hunting some rather large game with this round - close range stalking obviously.)
The only potential concern that I see for anyone is the very realistic possiblity of over-penetration. Know your target & what's behind it!!

I used to use 00 Buckshot for my home defense ammo, but this has replaced it, for good! Maximum Knockdown power in a round that fits any model shotgun.
