Bought these slugs just to pattern a new rifled barrel for my Mossberg 835, shot good on the range, killed a nice Georgia 9 point during deer season with them (dropped in his tracks) massive damage internally so I decided to try them on Hogs.
Shot a sow hog at 50 yards and these bullets did extremely well, accurate, bullet design is awsome, I recovered the slug in the swampy dirt and it is unbelievable how it expanded and retained its entire weight. BUY THESE SLUGS is all I can say...
Way to go Winchester...

These slugs are expensive but worth every penny!! I've been shooting these for 3 years and haven't missed yet, one shot one kill. Drop 12 deer with 2 boxes, have 2 left and will buy more 3 inch before gun season opens. The knock down power is amazing, nothing runs more then 30 yards and you can follow the huge blood trail. Cut's through thick Maryland brush with ease.

can you use these in a smoothbore barrel winchester supreme elite dual bond shotgun sabot slugsAnswers
A:
Yes, but they will not be accurate. They are made for a rifled barrel. I have use other rifled slugs in a older smooth barrel Winchester shotgun, but I would not shot them farther then 40 yardsA:
Sabot slugs work best in a rifled barrel, or at least a barrel with a rifled choke tube. otherwise, the slug will not come out spinning, and greatly reduce accuracy.A:
yes but it is much more accurate with a rifled choke tube.1 of 1
