Winchester Supreme Ballistic Silvertip Rifle Ammo
Great For More then 1 Rifle
I've have been using this product in 2 of my hunting rifles for 4 years now. In a 7mm Mag in 150 gr. and a 30-06 in 168 gr. Both loads work GREAT. With my 7mm just last year I shot 3 deer that were over 375 yard. I sited in at 3 1/2 inches high at 100 yards which allows me to hold dead on out to about 300 yards. They held a group that you could put on a quarter. The same with the 30-06 except the bullet is heavier and does get out as far as the 7mm. It hits like a hollow point and left a blood trail that a blind person could follow. I would recommend this to anyone. I've already convinced a couple of my hunting buddies to try it and they have also switched to this product. Give them a try..You won't be sorry.

wanna talk ballistics?
I shoot a Browning 7mm. Rem. Mag. Semi-Auto, and these are without a doubt thee best bullets i have ever used. I hunt deer a good bit, but down here in South Louisiana me and my cousins shoot alot of wild pigs here. I shot a 280 pound sal using this bullet and the ballistics were devastating at 150 yards away. When I went to go get my pig, I flipped the animal over to see that the exit wound was just massive. I could have put my fist through it. I recommend this to anyone who shoots game 200 yds. or less. , we rarely get long shots like these over here.

If it fires
I have used this round for the last fours years. In that time I have had two rounds that failed to fire from two seperate boxes. One was on a huge 12 point well you can guess my disapointment. When the round does fire it gets the job done. One problem is the lack of a blood trail. Shot one that went 250lbs. no blood trail except for initial shot area. Thank god for a good tracking dog. On the fail to fire on the big 12, winchester was notified and sent me a new box as if I wanted their product anymore. I would go with hornady or another brand.

Outstanding round at short and long ranges
I've been using Winchester Supreme Silvertips in my pistols for over a decade now with flawless performance and decided to give their rifle rounds a try in .308, .270, and .223. The .308 printed nicely all the way out to 1125yds, the .270 did equally well out to 800yds, and the .223 did awesome out to 400yds. My DPMS LR-308 was shooting sub 14" groups at nearly 3/4 of a mile with a NCStar 9x scope, and my Savage 110 Trophy Hunter was hitting sub 12" groups at nearly a half mile with the supplied Nikon scope, and my Ruger Mini-14 was averaging 8"-12" groups at 400yds with a 4x BSA scope that I've had for years. All in all, good weapons with average optics plus these rounds equals very good accuracy and better than expected results. I know keep them in my rifles as well as my 10mm, 40S&W, and 357Mag
