Don't buy a bigger gun, get a better bullet! I've always thought that shooting a rifle bigger than a .270 or a .30-06 at Deer, Elk or Antelope was overkill! Harvested over 20 Mule Deer (5 Big Bucks), 3 Elk and 2 Antelope with my .270, shooting 140 Grain Accubonds! All animals dropped with a well-placed shot between 100-300 yards. My biggest Bull Elk dropped instantly after a shot to the heart and same with my biggest buck and antelope! December 11, 2012
Sweet I shoot the 160 grain accubonds in 7mm Rem Mag for elk and they perform very well. I have killed three elk at various ranges with these bullets and all of them went down hard...on a broadside shot last year I hit the shoulder by mistake, but the bullet penetrated through, broke the offside shoulder, and stopped just under the skin. Quite a bit of punch. July 14, 2007
.270 WSM 140 grains MY Tikka loves these bullets. I am shooting the best I ever have......with sub-moa groups to 300 yrds !! I have shot 6 whitetails and dropped 5 in their tracks...........one went 20 yrds and piled up(all from 50 yrds to 150 yrds ). I have never had this kind of performance and would highly recommend using thes in a .270 WSM !! April 2, 2008
Accubond ct I Just bought this ammunition for my 270 winchester and I have already harvested three deer with it. The first deer was a rather clean kill but a little low of a shot and the deer ran about 40 yards and the second about fourty yards. The next deer my scope was off and i accidently gut shot the deer. It only went about 70 yards but it was utter distruction. There was food from the deers stomach logged in the front shoulders. These bullets are almost too much it was a rather messy job cleaning the deer but if you shoot the deer in the neck it would probably be the best ammo on the market. December 1, 2008

A:
yes as long as its Mag fed and not tube (Bullets stacked or touching end to end ) Bullets end to end can hit the primer in the front bullet and make it discharge , As long as the gun has been checked by a compantant gun smith and you are using a magazine (Stack) not tube feeding (End to end ) you should be good to go . If you have doubts or questions call Browning customer service or see a gun smith

The lever action should be able to fire this ammo but I would load more than one round in it at a time since the lever actions have tubular magazines. Check out the Hornady acutip is you want to load them into a tubular magazine.

FYI - If load multiple rounds into a tubular magazine with spinzer points on them you can cause a chain reaction when firing the gun. (i.e. the recoil cause the points on round to hit the primer on the round in front of it causing the chain reaction)
