I've always thought that shooting a rifle bigger than a .270 or a .30-06 at Deer, Elk or Antelope was overkill! Harvested over 20 Mule Deer (5 Big Bucks), 3 Elk and 2 Antelope with my .270, shooting 140 Grain Accubonds! All animals dropped with a well-placed shot between 100-300 yards. My biggest Bull Elk dropped instantly after a shot to the heart and same with my biggest buck and antelope!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dpiarussi Expertise gained at Bass Pro
Didn't know much about hiking boots for Rocky Mountain hunt except boots are most crucial for serious hiking in all types of weather/temperatures.
Bass Pro sales help was ex-military (knew about boots 'n hiking) and steered me through many choices/pros and con, then she scoped out a top boot on sale.
Tried them on a trial hike (6 miles) getting in shape and my aching front of feet disappeared in the first half mile. Fit was perfect, no blisters. Felt like foot therapy. Bass Pro expertise paid off.

I have been very happy with this rifle bullet. I purcheased in a 7mm-08 caliber for my kids. The 140 grain bullet performs beautifully. My 11 year old and 13 year old have killed there first deer each by either dropping dead or minimal tracking. A bit pricey, but I have been very happy with the results.

The lever action should be able to fire this ammo but I would load more than one round in it at a time since the lever actions have tubular magazines. Check out the Hornady acutip is you want to load them into a tubular magazine.FYI - If load multiple rounds into a tubular magazine with spinzer points on them you can cause a chain reaction when firing the gun. (i.e. the recoil cause the points on round to hit the primer on the round in front of it causing the chain reaction)
