Winchester Super-X BRI Sabot Slugs Shotshells
Can't find anything better.I
I have tried more expensive shells in my 12 gauge Remington 870 with a rifled slug barrel and I keep coming back to these Winchesters. The 3" 1oz shell has the knock down power that I am looking for. The accuracy is always there and the Deer just don't run very far when hit.

I like these for their accuracy and knock-down power. I get 2 1/2" to 3" groups at 100 yrds on paper from a Rem 1100 with a rifled tube and a scope. I have not lost a deer yet with these and the price is right.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I haven't shot every slug on the market. I love this slug though. 1.5 to 2 inch groups out of a gun vise at 100 yards every time to the range. I have never lost a deer with these as they are always consistent and reliable. You can spend a heck of alot more but these will be all I buy till they let me down. I'm not sure what one of the reviewers meant when he posted that it shot great out of his smooth bore. This is a sabot slug for rifled barrels. I shoot a savage slug gun and it shoots them just fine. Hope this helps.

I have used the 2 3/4'' slugs for several years with good results. They are fairly accurate with a screw in rifled tube in my 11-87. I can cut the same hole at 75 yards with a Hastings Paradox barrel on the same gun. Most of the deer I have shot with these slugs have dropped on the spot or within a few steps of where they were shot. The recoil is not as bad as some other slugs that I have tried.
