Very Quiet I have shot 2 boxes of these rounds through my P-22 with a Sparrow supressor and they are very quiet. No miss fires and are very accurite. Very happy and will order more. February 18, 2011
Love It! Went to the range, and it grouped well... It sounds like a higher powered pellet gun... There is absolutely no recoil... and at 50 yards it groups about a dime December 16, 2009

I have had great luck with Winchester Subsonics using my Savage Mark II bolt-action.

If the Rifle works using standard velocity ammo, I would recommend this without hesitation.

A:
your gun is rated for 22lr, and bolt actions are typically strong actions. As long as your gun is in good condition, you should have no issues with subs or any other 22lr round, especially since 22lr is a low pressure cartridge.

They should work just fine in any manually operated firearm chambered for LR such as your Model 80. They are very accurate in my Marlin bolt action. Definitely give them a try. I think you'll be impressed. As a side note, the subsonic round doesn't seem to have enough recoil to operate my Marlin autoloader consistently.
