Winchester® Super-X® .22 LR Rimfire Ammo
Win Super-X .22 LR
I put 200 rounds of the 37 grain Super-Xs through my brand new S&W 15-22, which is supposedly somewhat picky about ammo. All 200 rounds fed and fired flawlessly. Hard to comment on accuracy since the rifle is brand new, but I certainly cannot find any fault with this ammo. I only wish it came in 500 round bulk packs.

Great buy for the money
I have an old ranger 22L-L-LR my dad gave me when i was 16, i'm now 55 and I still hunt with it. 2 yrs ago I purchased a box of the super x 1330's hollow point. And head shots at 40yds is nothing. No misfires great accuracy. By the way I went back and bought 10 more boxes.

25% rate of failure
I was in Des Moines, IA and saw Winchester Super X .22 LR, 40 gr 1280 fps ammo. I was only allowed to purchase one box but was greatful later when I experienced a 25% failure rate with this ammo. I fired 20 rounds out of a box of 100. 3 never fired despite being reloaded 4 times and loading the round so the firing pin struck a different part of the rim. They still didn't fire. Two other rounds finally fired on the second attempt. In addition to this, 4 of the other 15 rounds fired but didn't have enough power to activate the slide. I then tried some Remington ammo. and it worked flawlessly. By the way, I was using a new Walther P22. The only problem I had was with the Winchester ammo. Huge disappointment!!

Bought a brick of this today. Was happy and surprised that my local Bass Pro had quite a few boxes in. Was hoping for some fun this evening. In my always reliable Marlin 795, it was jam after jam. Failure to ejects. Deformed bullets with the copper coating dented. Got out some Federal and Remington I had and both of those were 100% in the Marlin. Again, more of these loaded Winchesters and more frustration with FTL and FTE. I have had good luck previously with these rounds, though never as consistently good as the Federal bulk. You might have better luck.
