Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Ammo Great product. This is the only ammo i like to shoot out of my new Marlin M60. No jams, clean ejection along with reload. I'm cutting bulls eye bullet holes left and right at 50 yards like it's an everyday thing. Excellent ammo.. Just would love to buy some more like everyone else but i actually use my ammo that i buy to gun break coon dogs, instead of stock pileling it into a closet awaiting doomsday.. Other than that this product is fantastic. March 12, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not for Sig Mosquito when I picked up my Sig Mosquito the salesman told me to try these my gun would like them well 200 rounds jam after jam (no joke about 150 of them) I was ready to get rid of the gun it does not like this ammo, I swapped to CCI mini mags 40 grain and the mosquito loves it 400+ rounds not one misfire November 15, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great buy for the money I have an old ranger 22L-L-LR my dad gave me when i was 16, i'm now 55 and I still hunt with it. 2 yrs ago I purchased a box of the super x 1330's hollow point. And head shots at 40yds is nothing. No misfires great accuracy. By the way I went back and bought 10 more boxes. September 25, 2012

Item number 38-868-630-00 is a bullet type: Plated Power Point
Model: X22LRPP1

Item number 38-869-188-00 is a bullet type: Plated Round Nose
Model: X22LRSS1

A:
BassPro has two stock numbers for the 40 grain ammunition. One is a hollow point bullet and one is a round point bullet.

38-868-630-00 is Winchester PP PowerPoint for hollow point

38-869-188-00 is Winchester RP for Round Point.

When I was ordering these, the Bass help desk told me the Winchester codes and I got the descriptions from the Winchester website. BassPro might want to update their descriptions on the website.

A:
These are 37 gr. rounds. A little lighter than standard 40 gr. but a little heavier than the real hyper velocity rounds.

Is the info right?

Details:
Is the info right?

In the info it says 3,050fps.
In my time the fastest .22lr ammo I have seen is 1,700fps.
Could the fps on this ammo be a misprint?
Or could the ammo be .22 WMR?

A:
Yea, it was a misprint. Most .22lr goes off at around 1200 - 1300 fps.

A:
I didn;t see where it said 3000+ fps, but it would have to be a mistake. These are a little over 1400 fps. Not the fastest out there, but on the high side of average. These are definately LR rounds, not WMR rounds though, they work well in anyhting chambered for .22 long rifle.

It would HAVE to be a misprint if it's on a box of .22LR shells. Even a .17HMR only goes 2550fps
