Rated 5 out of 5 by Good stuff! What to say, these rock! I was having some problems with the remington 525 pack not working, so i decided to run some of these though it. And what do you known, they work perfectly. All 100 rounds fired one after the other with no problems at all. The price you pay is worth the quality you get, trust me, i learned the hard way. All i have to say is that i will be buying more soon, alot more. Good job Windchester and BPS! November 4, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by best 22 rounds ever these are the rounds i allways buy they burn clen didnt have a miss fire in 2 boxes (200 rounds) i recomend these rounds August 15, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good compromise ammo These are a good compromise between real high velocity rounds and cheap plinking rounds. A little less performance than the better rounds, but a lot less money too. They feed well, burn clean, and stay on target. Not a single misfire in the box. April 1, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by another good deal very good deal and reliable ammo will buy again soon June 22, 2010

A:
BassPro has two stock numbers for the 40 grain ammunition. One is a hollow point bullet and one is a round point bullet.

38-868-630-00 is Winchester PP PowerPoint for hollow point

38-869-188-00 is Winchester RP for Round Point.

When I was ordering these, the Bass help desk told me the Winchester codes and I got the descriptions from the Winchester website. BassPro might want to update their descriptions on the website.

These are 37 gr. rounds. A little lighter than standard 40 gr. but a little heavier than the real hyper velocity rounds.

Is the info right?

Details:
Is the info right?

In the info it says 3,050fps.
In my time the fastest .22lr ammo I have seen is 1,700fps.
Could the fps on this ammo be a misprint?
Or could the ammo be .22 WMR?

A:
22 Long Rifle - 1330 fps is fast
22 WMR - Winchester Mag - 1700-1850 fps

22 Hornet will shoot in that 3000 fps range!

Yea, it was a misprint. Most .22lr goes off at around 1200 - 1300 fps.

A:
I didn;t see where it said 3000+ fps, but it would have to be a mistake. These are a little over 1400 fps. Not the fastest out there, but on the high side of average. These are definately LR rounds, not WMR rounds though, they work well in anyhting chambered for .22 long rifle.

It would HAVE to be a misprint if it's on a box of .22LR shells. Even a .17HMR only goes 2550fps
