Hard hitting This ammo is hard hitting as a .22 could get. The only round out there that will cycle my .22 cal conversion kit AR without issues. Functions well in my GSG as well. Highly recommend. May 19, 2010
Win Super-X .22 LR I put 200 rounds of the 37 grain Super-Xs through my brand new S&W 15-22, which is supposedly somewhat picky about ammo. All 200 rounds fed and fired flawlessly. Hard to comment on accuracy since the rifle is brand new, but I certainly cannot find any fault with this ammo. I only wish it came in 500 round bulk packs. April 27, 2010
Great service & Good prices The ammo is great. No problems with my Marlin model 60 or ruger 10-22. No misfires. Had a problem with delivery. Called customer service and took care of it immediately!! Will be ordering more, March 16, 2010

A:
BassPro has two stock numbers for the 40 grain ammunition. One is a hollow point bullet and one is a round point bullet.

38-868-630-00 is Winchester PP PowerPoint for hollow point

38-869-188-00 is Winchester RP for Round Point.

When I was ordering these, the Bass help desk told me the Winchester codes and I got the descriptions from the Winchester website. BassPro might want to update their descriptions on the website.

These are 37 gr. rounds. A little lighter than standard 40 gr. but a little heavier than the real hyper velocity rounds.

Is the info right?

Details:
Is the info right?

In the info it says 3,050fps.
In my time the fastest .22lr ammo I have seen is 1,700fps.
Could the fps on this ammo be a misprint?
Or could the ammo be .22 WMR?

A:
I didn;t see where it said 3000+ fps, but it would have to be a mistake. These are a little over 1400 fps. Not the fastest out there, but on the high side of average. These are definately LR rounds, not WMR rounds though, they work well in anyhting chambered for .22 long rifle.

It would HAVE to be a misprint if it's on a box of .22LR shells. Even a .17HMR only goes 2550fps
