Winchester Super-X .22 LR Rimfire Ammo 4.1 5 21 21
Poor Quality Ammo Oversized rims and/or casing diameter on 18 of 100 rounds (brick #1 of 10 purchased). These rounds will not seat/release from speed loaders and consistently would not eject from my 8 shot revolver's cylinder. On a road trip through the Midwest I bought 1,000 rounds of this (10 x 100 round bricks) at the Bass Pro in Clarksville, IN on 7/11/13. I was excited about being able to find .22 LRs AND being allowed to buy 10 boxes. Opened the 1st brick and noted that several rounds would not seat properly in my speed loaders (checked with 6 speed loaders being used that day). These same speed loaders had been used without incident to load a variety of ammo types prior to this issue (F: bulk & lighting, R: subsonic & goldens and mini mags). I recommend that you avoid this ammo. I'm very disappointed with this product. July 24, 2013
Well worth the money I am very happy with the Winchester Super-X .22 LR ammo I purchased. Shot all 400 rounds without a failure. I would definitely buy these ammo again. May 1, 2012
Great Deal! Decent ammo at a decent price....considering all 22LR haas become way overpriced. This was one of those rare occasions BPS sold online. Which is too bad because the closest store to me is 30 minutes one way, and you have no idea what is in stock unless you visit the store. I did buy my 18ft BassBuggy pontoon from the Dania store. Best small pontoon for the price out there IMHO. September 10, 2014
Awesome Ammo Great product. This is the only ammo i like to shoot out of my new Marlin M60. No jams, clean ejection along with reload. I'm cutting bulls eye bullet holes left and right at 50 yards like it's an everyday thing. Excellent ammo.. Just would love to buy some more like everyone else but i actually use my ammo that i buy to gun break coon dogs, instead of stock pileling it into a closet awaiting doomsday.. Other than that this product is fantastic. March 12, 2013

A:
BassPro has two stock numbers for the 40 grain ammunition. One is a hollow point bullet and one is a round point bullet.

38-868-630-00 is Winchester PP PowerPoint for hollow point

38-869-188-00 is Winchester RP for Round Point.

When I was ordering these, the Bass help desk told me the Winchester codes and I got the descriptions from the Winchester website. BassPro might want to update their descriptions on the website.

These are 37 gr. rounds. A little lighter than standard 40 gr. but a little heavier than the real hyper velocity rounds.

Is the info right?

Details:
Is the info right?

In the info it says 3,050fps.
In my time the fastest .22lr ammo I have seen is 1,700fps.
Could the fps on this ammo be a misprint?
Or could the ammo be .22 WMR?

A:
22 Long Rifle - 1330 fps is fast
22 WMR - Winchester Mag - 1700-1850 fps

22 Hornet will shoot in that 3000 fps range!

Yea, it was a misprint. Most .22lr goes off at around 1200 - 1300 fps.

A:
I didn;t see where it said 3000+ fps, but it would have to be a mistake. These are a little over 1400 fps. Not the fastest out there, but on the high side of average. These are definately LR rounds, not WMR rounds though, they work well in anyhting chambered for .22 long rifle.

It would HAVE to be a misprint if it's on a box of .22LR shells. Even a .17HMR only goes 2550fps
