A friend of mine told me to buy these shells because they were very good. I was using a new gun with a turkey choke so we went and shot it in a few days before the season. They patterned very nice with at least 8-10 pellets in the kill zone. Went out and called in a nice gobbler on the first day of the PA Spring Gobbler season. He was about 30 yards away. At the shot I did not see the bird flopping around on the ground so thought that maybe I had missed. Not to worry, he was laying right where he had been standing. I have never had a bird not flop before. Unbelievable what these shells did to him.

I have tried many other brands i.e. Remington, Federal in 31/2" and found the Winchester Supreme 31/2" #6 to be the very best pattern out of my Browning BPS and have killed many turkeys. I didn't say I never missed a turkey but I have never wounded one with these shells.

I spend alot of time, a ton of money, and take many hours off work each year to go turkey hunting. As a avid turkey hunter, I like to try new and different equipment every season just to see if there is something a little better than what I'm using. I've tried the heavyshot, super fast longer range shells, and the computer designed wads with aerodynamics that rival the F-22. I always come back to Winchester Supreme High-Velocity #5's. I've patterned my 835 out to 80 yards, just to see. While I would never take a shot that far, the pattern I get is "killable".
