Best Turkey load for the Mossberg 835 I have know used the 3 inch number 5's for over 15 years and I have killed a whole lot of turkeys and I took one at 57 yards with my Mossberg 835 using the Extra full Turkey Choke. January 14, 2008
One Shot 65 yards I used 3" #5's to shoot a gobber 2 days ago at 65 yards. Combined with a Comp-N-Choke .660 and a Benelli Super Black Eagle, he hit the dirt with one shot. April 16, 2010
Great Product I love these Turkey loads. I shot my bird at 37 yards no problem. I also use a truglo turkey choke on a mossberg 500 February 3, 2009
Straight Down A friend of mine told me to buy these shells because they were very good. I was using a new gun with a turkey choke so we went and shot it in a few days before the season. They patterned very nice with at least 8-10 pellets in the kill zone. Went out and called in a nice gobbler on the first day of the PA Spring Gobbler season. He was about 30 yards away. At the shot I did not see the bird flopping around on the ground so thought that maybe I had missed. Not to worry, he was laying right where he had been standing. I have never had a bird not flop before. Unbelievable what these shells did to him. May 26, 2014
