Purchased a new 45LC revolver, so I needed brass. Found some on Brass Pro, and ordered a couple bags of these Winchester cases.
The quality control was horrible. One case in the bag was cut FAR to short, to be safely loaded and used - from the factory
The rims are inconsisitent - some were too thin. Usally this is not an issue, but upon trimming the brass, so that an even roll crimp could be done - some of the cases would not chuck in an RCBS Trim Pro, because the rims were too thin. 45LC headspaces on the rim. I would not recommend Winchester 45LC Pistol Brass. Id try to find higher quality Starline brass, for alot less then what Bass Pro sells Winchester brass for.

This is good brass. I have found that Remington, Starline and other brands of pistol brass in this price range need full prep to be loaded. Full lenght sized, case mouths flared, trimmed to lenght, flash hole deburred.
I purchased a bag of 100 of these from the local Bass Pro. They were all uniform in lenght 1.282- 1.280. I just trimmed them all to 1.280.
They all looked good, no flash holes off center, dents, blemishes. overall good brass.
I shoot heavy +P loads in my Blackhawk. I havent shot any yet, I will report back on a review on case life.
