Rated 4 out of 5 by Cowboy loads Was flying across country to shoot in the South Carolina State Cowboy Action match. Didn't want to bring my shotgun ammo with me (too heavy for checked baggage) so I got some of these and had them delivered to the Concord Mills store. My son in law picked them up for me. I was impressed how well they worked in my 97. Cost more than my reloads but I think I will use these at bigger matches. April 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Shells These are great shells i use them to shoot black birds out my back yard without disterbing the neighbors and even dove quail woodcock snipe ect. They hit hard enough to kill the birds but the birds come out good enough to mount. I would definatley buy more of these. March 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really low noise low recoil This ammo is great. Top quality and almost zero recoil. It is a great choice for ladies, younger people, and recoil sensitive people. If you want to practice all day long and feels zero recoil this is the ammo to choose (in my opinion). This is the only ammo my wife will use when she wants to shoot my 12 GA shotgun. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for Kids My 9 year old uses these shells in his 870 compact pump and loves them. He can shoot all day now and hit 4 dove the first day so speed is not an issue. He really enjoys shooting now that the recoil is not tearing him up. November 11, 2012

I have heard that many low recoil shotgun shells are fine in a pump gun but don't have enough powder in them to cycle through a semiautomatic. Anybody care to weigh in?

A:
It says right on the box that they are not recommended for autoloaders. Most semi automatic shotguns have less recoil than a pump, o/u or side by side anyway. Use these in anything but a semi auto as recommended.

works great every time I pull The trigger in my 2 weatherby SA08s with the light gas valve installed.
But have heard not so in some other auto loaders.

Yes this is very true. The powder in these low recoil shells are not enough to cycle the action of most semi autos. I tried them in a Browning Maxus and Beretta Urika and they would not cycle (the Beretta cycled every now and then, but not reliably). I would stay away from them with semi autos (they are great shells though other wise)
