William Joseph™'s Retractable Stripping Basket is a refreshing solution to big, bulky, always-out-of-reach-or-in-the-way stripping baskets. The Retractable Stripping Basket weighs in at only 1/2-pound and features a breathable, adjustable belt that doubles as a wading belt, capable of holding tools, water, and almost anything else you might need for a day on the river. Simply give it a pull when you’re ready to fish, and out pops the basket.

One of a kind I ordered this product because here in Brazil we don't have anything similar. My girlfriend said it's kinda funny that I could carry a baby in it. But it's really useful and works just fine. The only thing I would change is that big William Joseph written on the front, some folks asked me if that's my name. April 17, 2012
Striping basket Really enjoying this product. i use it bank fishing at a small lake so when i move along the bank the line is in the basket not dragging along the ground or getting tangeled under my feet. it's worked very good so far. May 31, 2011
Good quality, bad design for me I bought this for wade fishing the Texas coast...but quickly realized that it is not going to work for me. If you're like me, you strip downward at a 45-degree angle, with your hand stopping around mid-thigh. This basket sits on your hip, so I had to use my entire arm to strip "back" instead of "down"...which wore me out very quickly! Also, most of the water that we wade it at least mid-thigh deep, so it would be hanging in the water, defeating the purpose. Its a well built product, very sturdy, and a handy design...and could certainly make life easier for some folks....just not for my style of fishing. May 15, 2011
