I just got into fly fishing and didn't want to waste my money and time buying some junk so without reading any reviews I bought this forceps just from the look and the design of it. And I wasn't disappointed. For the first test, i cut some 12# fluoro then the 20# dacron backing. no problem. Then I tried on my 50# powerpro and no problem as well. They put my Rapala braid scissors into a shame. The grip and the materials are excellent and worth the extra money.

These are a great pair of forceps. Very comfortable to use day in and day out. The grip texture is rough instead of smooth and provides excellent hold when your hands are wet.

great ergonomic grip. my only complaints are cost and the end of the forceps are smooth where you need some grip. has built in scissor blades that are very nice though. grip is so nice though.
