During the day this cam ran like every other cam, but at night i had many deer come in and all i got was very dark pictures to the point that i couldn't see anything but the silhouette of the deer. Pretty much not reliable at night.

I own two of these cameras due tot he fact that the first one i bought was such a benefit to my hunting success in the 2011 season. i killed my biggest buck yet thanks to scouting and knowing he was in the area i had never seen him and might not have without the camera. For those reading and seeing oh the infared doesnt reach as far as it says it will yeah i had that issue HUMAN ERROR all you havev to do is adjust the PIR sensitivity and BAM the infared works flawlessly i have pics and videos of animals that i believe are beyond advertised range weather conditions also have affect but thats the nature of the beast.. needless to say this camera is WELL worth 100$ and even 150$ personally i like to save money thats the main reason i got it but once it worked so well i couldnt help buying another and tomorrow i will buy my third one... dont think about it any longer if your gonna buy a camera to fit your budget this is the one and if you dont have a budget well buy 10 because you can never haev too many .....

I've had this camera setup and running for 4 months last year with no problems. It started out fine took good pictures day and night, but then it went haywire. It now (after a year of sitting on my gun safe) takes a picture every time the delay is set at (Delay =30/Picture every 30 sec) whether or not anything is there. This caused the batteries to die and a couple hundred pictures of nothing. Also, the button for scrolling up through the setup screen has quit working, and the plastic lens between the camera and the outside world somehow got dust between it and the camera. Cheap seals, and all around worthless camera. I'm past the 1 year warranty or they probably would have replaced it, but I'm sure the replacement is as useful as a slingshot hunting groundhogs.

I purchased this camera because I wanted to prove that you do not need to spend over $150 on a quality product. I was right in every way. The pictures are clean and precise, and the video is great. Great camera, along with a great price.

I cant get this camera to work at night! Ive tested it and I have to stand infront the the camera for about 2 minutes before its takes a picture/video, and nothing else sets off teh sensor but a human walking directly infront of it (I got my dog to stand infront of it and it wouldnt work). Im not sure if its something im doing wrong or if its the camera.
If its on a feeder or a pond it would be great, but if it is on a quick movin trail, or somewhere they might just go through once, maybe not because of the trigger speed might just get half or the rear if they are jogging.
