I've been using the forerunner to this feeder for a few years. They've changed the camo pattern on the pail, but everything else appears to be the same.
I went with this type of feeder, as opposed to larger capacity feeders with their own legs, for two reasons: initial cost and ease of filling. Due to the topography of my land, I can't drive a truck up to the feeder w/o risk of getting stuck, so I can't fill the taller feeders from the bed of the truck.
I cut three scrub trees about 8' long each, lashed them together on one end with nylon rope(it won't rust or rot, & I had it on hand) arranged it into a tripod, fitted it with a pulley, tied more nylon rope to the bail, passed it through the pulley, and I was in business. Whenever I need to refill the pail, I simply lower it to the ground, & pour the grain directly from the 50 lb. bag it came from the feed store in. One word of caution: the pail will hold all but about 2 quarts of shelled corn out of 50 lb,, which makes for a pretty heavy load to pull to the top of the tripod without help. Depending on how high your tripod is, you can use a large feed scoop to fill the pail in the raised position; takes a little longer, but it's a bunch easier on aging muscles like mine.
I'm about to order a 2nd feeder to place in a different location on my property
