Well I should have researched this camera closer before making the purchase because I would have likely went with another brand if I had. The first WGI 6.0 didn't even make it to the woods. I tested it at home and 9 out of 10 photos were "white outs" so I returned it without even going into the field. The second camera did well on the "home test" and after two weeks in the woods produced some good photos. There was some false alarms and some blurs at night but overall the quality wasn't bad and the number of pictures was good. I returned after 3 more weeks to find the camera had leaked water into the housing and ruined the entire camera. Needless to say I returned it and went with a different brand with a better reputation.

I purchased this camera in the spring and it worked flawlessly (besides a very few white out pics), but recently I cannot get it to power on correctly. I press the power button and the backlight comes on, but it does not power on completely. I have replaced the batteries and the SD card and did a full reset (left batteries out over night), but it is still not powering on. I called WGI and was given the run around (after waiting to speak to someone for over 35min, and then was told that I would have to pay all of the shipping for a replacement). This is the second camera I have had issues with from this manufacturer. Looks like my money will be going elsewhere.

I purchased this camera because I own tow others from the same manufacturer and was very pleased with them. This camera is "improved" from the previous versions but actually performs worse. If you have the camera mounted it is impossible to take out the batteries without pulling it away from where it is mounted or un-mounting it. That is too much trouble. The issue is that the battery compartment door cannot be opened unless the main compartment door is pulled back. You cannot pull it back while it is mounted. If you pull the base of the camera out with one hand and open the battery compartment with the other, the batteries fall out. I wrote Wildgame Innovations and exchanged multiple emails with them. They did not seem to care their product was poorly designed and had a poor attitude. I was basically told to deal with it or go talk to the store where you purchased it. The trigger speed is a bit slow as well. I would not buy this camera and hope to bet my money back.

If you like white out pictures and not ables to tell what the animal is, then this is the camera for you. Oh and most of the picutres out of focuse. it is easy to setup, but after that it is a junk of a camera. I am taking mine back as soon as I can.
