I bought this product this past summer and set it up attached to one of my Wildgame trail cameras. I checked the camera 2 months later and it still had power left from the battery pack. I'll be anxious to see how it holds up during deer season with more game movement and colder weather, but I'm very impressed so far.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by stealthstalker WOW, well worth the money!
I first set up my Primos Trail camera using only four alkaline D-cell batteries. I left it in place for two weeks and when I arrived to check out the photos, I was disappointed to see that the power was off. The batteries had died after only a few days and only taking a handful of photos. I replaced the batteries using another brand and again left it for two weeks. This set of batteries didn't do much better, lasting just over a week. Since my hunting camp is almost two hours away, I couldn't justify making weekly trips just to change the batteries. After reading the reviews of this external battery pack, I decided to give it a shot. WOW, well worth the money. The camera has been up now for another two weeks and has taken over 100 photos, about one-third of them with flash and the battery pack still shows 99%. It has helped to take some great photos, some of which I would have missed using only D-cell batteries.
I also like that this battery pack comes with it's own plastic case which made it weather resistant and easy to secure to the tree. Additionally, the power cord is encased in flexible hard plastic which makes it somewhat squirrel resistant.
When I purchased my trail camera, I considered buying this battery pack but I was skeptical and didn't want to waste the money. What a mistake. Two thumbs up.

I had a problem with my cameras draining batteries like crazy so I bought a couple of these to try and make it so I didn't have to put new batteries in my cameras each month. After charging them i put them in the field and they last more then a year and take over 10,000 pictures and it still has just under half a charge

The wiring in the battery pack has both batteries hooked up. I'm not sure if the camera it is attached to will pull power from one battery at a time or both. Probably the manufacturer can answer this more accurately.A:Â

I have a Bushnell Trophy Game Cam which can use a 6v external battery. I notice this battery has 2 in it. Does that make it 12 volts or is it still 6?Answers
A:Â
I guess that this can be used as either a 12 or 6 volt pack, depending on how you connect the batteries to each other. The instructions are very clear.A:Â
6 Volt works with Wildgame Innovations only.Answers

I don't have the Truthcam 35, but do have a 46 that came out a couple of years ago. I hooked up the Wildgame Innovations battery pack to my Truthcam at home and it worked fine. I plan on trying it out in the field for an extended period of time this fall.A:Â
Perfectly, you can even drill a hole in the pack and attach a solar charger to make it last forever... mine went nine months in the field without changing batteries or maintenance before poachers stole my setup
