This big unit combines a 55-gallon steel drum with a TH-6VD digital control feeder unit to give you precise control over feeding times with enough capacity to last a while between refills. The heavy-duty steel barrel offers a 350 lb. capacity, is painted on the inside for increased rust resistance, and comes with a heavy-duty, lockable polyethylene lid. Powder-coated stub legs provide a sturdy base for this big game feeder. The digital control unit lets you set four daily feed times, with each feed time running from 1-20 seconds. You can also choose one of three motor speeds for different feed types. Large, silicone rubber buttons on the digital control are easy to use and weather resistant. Feeder unit includes in-line fuse protection against power supply overloads, a fully enclosed circuit board with a wiring harness molded into its protective rubber gasket to insure a weather-tight seal. It also offers exclusive “Jam” and “Short” protection and respective error messages. Runs on 6V battery (not included). Manufacturer's four year warranty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by jl9133 worst feeder ever Purchased two of these feeders. Put new energizer battery in. It only lasted 1 week. Installed new duracell battery and it still only lasted 1 week. Called wildgame tech support and they told me the batteries only last 3-6 days and the rechargeable batteries last up to 30 days. I already have 5 moultrie feeders that have been going for 4 months and still have 90% battery life. Go moultrie! Both feeders are set for the same run times.These are the worst feeders I have ever owned. Unless you work for duracell do NOT buy this feeder.Battery costs $10 ever week. Good luck and thought you should know.. December 22, 2010

Rated 5 out of 5 by Forney Good feeder Good solid feeder, with a great thrower. 6volt system, but throws far. Electronics are easy to use, and have had no problems. I really like the lid that comes with it. It covers the whole barrel and dosent let water stand on top. A lot easier to use and lighter than a metal lid when standing on a ladder. the only drawback is the legs are in sections so you will need to add some screws to make it bulletproof.
