Purchased two of these feeders. Put new energizer battery in. It only lasted 1 week. Installed new duracell battery and it still only lasted 1 week. Called wildgame tech support and they told me the batteries only last 3-6 days and the rechargeable batteries last up to 30 days. I already have 5 moultrie feeders that have been going for 4 months and still have 90% battery life. Go moultrie! Both feeders are set for the same run times. These are the worst feeders I have ever owned. Unless you work for duracell do NOT buy this feeder.Battery costs $10 ever week. Good luck and thought you should know..

Good solid feeder, with a great thrower. 6volt system, but throws far. Electronics are easy to use, and have had no problems. I really like the lid that comes with it. It covers the whole barrel and dosent let water stand on top. A lot easier to use and lighter than a metal lid when standing on a ladder. the only drawback is the legs are in sections so you will need to add some screws to make it bulletproof.
