Chrono'd @ 310 FPS consistently with factory Easton aluminum bolts + 100G target tip. Accurate to 50yards with a 5-10mph crosswind. Standing same hole accurate from about 35yards with ease. All yardage measured digitally and electronically for accuracy. Add the dampening kits to bring the noise level down.

I did a lot of research on crossbows that lead me to several models within my price range. I was looking at the Barnett, Parker, and this one. When I test shot them I didn't like the feel of the Parker so I automatically ruled it out. The Barnett was much lighter and seemed more stealthy. Both the Barnett and the Wicked Ridge bow shot just as accurate in my hands even though the WR was a bit heavier. The reason I decided to go with the WR is the built in draw loading mechanism.
Straight out of the box I took three shots and ruined two arrows because I Robin hooded one with the other (see attached) at 30 yards. Needless to say it was pretty accurate. Three days later I made my first kill with it. I couldn't have been more impressed with the quality, ease of use, or price. If there is a complaint it would be the weight as compared to some of the other bows. Practice easily overcomes that.
I highly recommend getting a good target as this bow sends the quarrels at a very high velocity and has great punch.

It is a little loud, but I plan on getting the dampening system by Ten Point to go on it. Not a big fan of aluminum arrows but they will be good to practice with until hunting season. The quality is second to none. The trigger is very crisp. I love the accu 52 pull system.

I was in the market for second crossbow with a slightly smaller foot print than the high dollar one that I normally shoot. (More than twice as expensive but I don't want to name names). I was going to use it for tight places and small blinds. However once I began using the Invader, I absolutely fell in love with it. It is easy to cock, accurate and fast. I shoot it now far more often than my primary crossbow. Two thumbs up!
