Love this bow. Tried factory field tips shot high and to left then switched to 125 gr field tips first shot hit center line 1 in. to left a couple of clicks and was dead on at 20 yards Can't wait till Saturday and try it out on Turkey's.

after my neck injury ihad to lay down my compound.after alot of research i chose the invader with 3xscope.i am very impressed.after putting it together i was hitting the bullseye right out of the box.i recomend wicked ridge arrows and nap spitfire 100gr broadheads,very deadly combo

When I was looking for a crossbow I did alot of research. After looking at the prices and what you got for the price I decided on this one. Knowing it was affiliated with TenPoint I knew i was making a good decision. After the salesman assembled it for me, he gave me his opinion on broadheads as well. This combo has been great. Second trip out I took a bad shot but the broadhead saved my nervousness of hunting with a new weapon and I got a nice 6pt. For my last trip out I took a buck who had already shed his antlers. He was 41 yds out and I had a small window to shoot through. He had no idea what hit him. At 41 yds I took out 7 ribs. This thing packs a punch even at that distance. It may seem a little loud when you shoot it but if you aren't next to it, it really isn't bad. I give Wicked Ridge 2 thumbs up. I also recommend NAP broadheads.

Bought this crossbow, sighted the scope in at 25 yards, shot it, dead on accurate 25-50 yards, right in the bullseye. First time hunting with it, killed a nice eight point. Best purchase I've made!

Tenpoint bows will all usually come with a 20" aluminum crossbow bolt. Specifically the XX75 by easton. They were previously called Razer and this year have swithched to Magnum bolts. They work well with the bows, but i would recommend switching to carbon bolts due to the nature of aluminum bolts. They can bend or dent relatively easy and this can without a doubt affect your accuracy downrange. As for what type of bolt to use there are so many options. I would just recommend keeping the weight above 400 grains or whatever is specified in the bow manual to prevent semi-dry fire. The heavier the bolt, the more accuracy downrange, but the lighter the bolt the flatter it will shoot over a longer distance. As for fletchings, I find that it doesnt really make much of a difference. If you use 4" vanes or blazers you should be perfectly fineA:Â

I would go with nothing other than a G5 Montec CS (Carbon Steel) or a T3. The Montec CS is a fixed blade and amazingly strong broadhead with deadly field point accuracy and the the T3 is an expandable that is right there with it. Make sure you get the red spider clips for the T3 if you are planning on using them with a crossbow. They just prevent any pre-deployment issues. And I would in most cases just stick to a 100 grain broadhead. If you want more or less weight I would look at a different bolt or arrow first.A:Â

My wife and I bought our bows at the same time at Nashville BPS.Hers is harder to cock than mine,And hers groups 3/4 inch @ 30 yds,mine 2" @ 30.And also after about 10 shots they both arent as accurate.At 40 yds hers drops 2' mine 4" Useing same boltsAnswers

I would first as you what kind of bows you bought and if you are bench resting or not. Human error is typically the biggest problem. The heavier your bolts are, the more accuracy you will achieve downrange, but the arrow will drop faster. For example, you may be getting a 4" drop at 40Yds. because you simply have a heavier bolt. With a lighter bolt your arrow will fly flatter for a longer distance. All crossbows will drop significantly as soon as you pass the 30 yard mark and it only drops faster from thereA:Â
Did you check to make sure everything is tight? Or put Rail Snot on after every 4-5 shots?A:Â
