Rated 3 out of 5 by Buy the Redington instead My Bass Pro store has a great selection of the Redington cases, much more so than on the website. Both are well constructed cases. The Redigton cases just have nylon dividers inside the rod case that keeps each section of your rod separated from the other. These do NOT. May 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent value and quality I got this case as part of a White River outfit combo that I bought in January. The photo shows the tire marks after my girlfriend accidentally ran over my case with a loud crunch, with my fly rod inside. I sadly opened the case expecting my rod to be in pieces. To my amazement there was not the slightest bit of damage to the rod and I have used it many times since with no problems. The case did sustain some visible damage but is still very much usable, I just wouldn't want to run over it again. No matter how fancy your rod and reel this case is an excellent protector of your investment. April 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by As advertised Fit perfectly, quality materials. Can safely transport my rod anywhere, anyway. July 6, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by a necessity i love this product. i can keep my fly rod safely under the back seat of my truck for those few and far between days of getting off early enough to go see a giant rise up on a fly! A must for serious fisherman! June 6, 2012

2.5” in diameter 38” long. This is a triangular shaped tube so the diameter varies around 2.5” depending on how you look at it.

No it doesn't, thats what they make rod socks for. The sock goes inside the tube to keep your sections from wearing on one another. If you have a great rod ,or a bamboo, this is the only way or case to go with . Larry C

I'm not sure if the "Tri Fly Rod and Reel Case" means it holds three rods , and reels. I just bought this bag, and I dont think it will hold 3 of each. I was able to fit my 8' x 3pc fly rod ,and reel in it with plent of space, but not enough left for 2 more sets, maybe 1 more set, but that is just my opinion.

I just got one and it's great. It only holds one rod and reel. It's called a "TRI" because the tube is triangular shaped for strength. It's well worth the cost for this and it's very well made. Hope this helps.
