I almost got my one piece 7' fly rod bent in half to get it in the case when it snapped. That bamboo rod was too old I guess. Then I tried with my 7 1/2' casting rod. Same result. Don't understand it because the case is suppsed to handle one piece rods. After two rods down I read the instructions and saw that the case is supposed to
extend, not have the rods bend.

Very good rod case; great value. Zipper at end of rod tube a little stiff and I hope this loosens up with time

I bought this for my husband who is new to fly fishing. He wanted a tube that was inexpensive and basic. The only complaint I have is that the zipper pull broke off the first time he used it. Although he was able to repair it, I'm afraid the zipper is not very durable and it's difficult to open and close because of the triangular shape of the tube.
