Better than a metal tube I have two of these cases for two TFO rods I have, since they don't come with any cases. I love keeping my reel on the butt section of the rod knowing that it is protected. The cases are well built and durable. I have taken them on many trips and had them in the back of my truck getting thrown around and they protect the rod and reel very nicely. February 17, 2012
Very Good Like the product for the cost. I have another one and liked it, so bought another one. August 15, 2011
Best of the value rod/reel cases After researching quite a bit of the rod/reel cases at this price point (which is an incredible bargain, btw), this White River case stood out in build quality and thoughtfulness of design. I especially like that the handle is adjustable and has enough strapping to be slung over the shoulder to leave hands free while hiking in somewhere. August 1, 2011

A:
I would think the single rod up to 9' 3 piece case would fit a 10' 4 piece rod as the rod sections on a 9' 3 piece are 3', and the rod sections on a 10' 4 piece are 2.5'.

At least 5 feet. It would have to be 5' to fit a 2 piece 10' rod.

A:
Yes, the doube case will fit two - four peice rods. There is a divider which will keep the rods seperate inside so they don't knock into each other during transportation. The same thing with the reels. Each has it's own reel compartment.

I use it for fly rods and reels and I believe the reel case may be a little narrow for a bait casting reel.

Currently I carry from 7WT to 10Wt rods and reels. The 10Wt reels have plenty of room. I think you could carry larger reels. I use all large arbor fly reels too.
