Rated 5 out of 5 by MinnowFisher Great product at a great price
The title just about says it all. This case fits my 3pc 9' rod perfectly and appears to be well made and sturdy. I would recommend this case, especially for such a great price.

This rod case is an excellent value. The case handles two rods and two large arbor reels. Protects your investment, and saves time when you hit the water by having the reel already attached to the rod.
The carrying strap makes it convenient to sling the case over your shoulder, or just carry it by your side.
I like this rod case so well that I just bought a second one, for my bride to give me for Christmas.

This case is perfect for holding you money rods or just the only two you own. For me I keep my Alaska Salmon rod and reel in here as well as my trout rod and reel to. I made a reel cusion for inside the case and ot help keep them from shifting during travel. The starp in nice because you can throw it over your shoulder and start hiking. I did think it was kind of over priced, but you have to pay what they say.

...not sure I understand. If the case is capable of carrying a 9' rod, why the difference between 2,3 or 4 piece?
Is there compartments inside specifically for 2, 3 or 4 piece?

I was in the store today looking at these. Most any size will hold a 4 piece 9 foot rod. There are NO inside dividers or compartments. Unless you have a rod sock to shove in there, your rod will bounce around and get beat up. Bass Pro also sells a Redington case that DOES have the dividers and is much better.

I would think the single rod up to 9' 3 piece case would fit a 10' 4 piece rod as the rod sections on a 9' 3 piece are 3', and the rod sections on a 10' 4 piece are 2.5'.Answers

Yes, the doube case will fit two - four peice rods. There is a divider which will keep the rods seperate inside so they don't knock into each other during transportation. The same thing with the reels. Each has it's own reel compartment.A:
