This product is a great light weight rod case that I will use when I ride horseback to high mountain lakes in the Colorado Rockies.

This made a great equipment case for my expensive carbon-fiber audio boom pole. (used in motion picture and television productions)
Similar cases made 'specifically' for boom poll transport and storage generally cost at least three times as much. In most instances, they appear to be a similar fly rod type case re-branded.
This particular White River Fly Shop® Rod Tube model fits my carbon fiber K-Tec boom model 100CC absolutely perfectly... which in a fully retracted state measures about 28 inches.
The adjustable carrying handle/strap is a little short but still can be used over the shoulder.
