I have just got into fly fishing this year and needed some waders for a trip. These were a mid range price ($189 in store in Canada) and the fit was great. First day out i ended with a wet crotch. Second day semed ok, but all the rest ended with a wet crotch.
figure for the money they should be better inspected and quality should be higher.
Couldn't return before I deployed, so hopefully when i get back
loved everything else about them, just disappointed in quality.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by ADKjoe blew apart first time out
I had a bad experience with these waders, Most people seem to like them, so maybe mine were a "lemon". First time out, fished about 2 hours, took a big step and they came apart at the seam (and I got WET!). They did appear to fit correctly (bought and tried on in store with salesman). Complete junk -maybe just bad luck defective pair.
I have lots of bass-pro brand products and like them. But in this case I just took the refund, which they readily gave me (I do like there return policy!).

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Jeff123 good product
I bought these waders, took them on one trip and found that they had a leak. I exchanged them for another pair and this second one has been great. No leaks and it has been on about 10 trips so far. They have been a little cold in 40 degree water but just wear another layer underneath and you're all set. The reinforced knee and seat is a good feature when you're trucking through brush and sitting on rocks. So far they've held up well. I would recommend these, as long as you get a pair that's made well. But Basspro will exchange them for you if they have a defect

Can these waders be used in conjunction with the white river float tub?If so, do they connect to the float tube??
thanks

I use them in my float tube all of the time. Any chest high waders will work. Just keep in mind that a little extra room in the waders doesnt hurt because you are in a sitting position as long as you are in the tube, you can stretch tight waders to the point of discomfort. If you intend on making many trips in waders you may want to consider a little more expensive set, these work well but you will be looking for another set in a year or two because the quality is just not that high, as indicated by the price. They are great for occassional anglers, but save yourself another purchase later if you are an avid fisherman because you will inevitably be looking for a replacement due to leakage.Details:Â
I am 6' and weigh in at 190 shoe size is a 12 to 13 dependant on mfg. My current waders are a XL and fit a bit loose with the exception of the boot. It seems that the stocking foot has srunk some and they are now uncomfortable. What wader do I go to to avoid this tight foot problem?Answers
A:Â
Compared to the 3 or 5mm neoprene ones, a whole lot less. The only part that needs drying are the booties which don't take long. So traveling with these, I would guess it weighs a couple of pounds is all. The neoprenes to me weight triple to quadruple than these White River's.Answers

Yes, but don't do it. Read my review on the boots. Great waders, bad boots.Top 100 Contributor

Any boots will work with these waders. There is no specific boot esspecially for this set from the white river line of products.Details:Â
I am 5foot 10 inches, wear a size 10 shoe and weigh 270 lbs. Do you have any waders that will fit?Answers
A:Â
I'm 6'0" -225lb with a 10 1/2 foot and wear the XL. I fit in the L but the legs were a bit tight when i squated. The bootie was a bit long on a bare foot but with socks and a size 12 wading boot it all works great.A:Â
I believe the White River dry waders in size: large will work because of your weight. I am 5'10" and weigh 205 lbs with a size 12 wide foot shoe size. The medium size fit me good (body wise) however, the booties were slightly tighter (when wearing thicker socks) on my feet but I'm breaking them in.Top 100 Contributor
