I have put two very hard seasons on these waders. They cost a little more when i bought them but were still very reasonably priced. They performed very well for most of the first season, although i started to notice a minor amount of moisture making it inside at the small of my back, and inside both legs. Not a big deal, I went over all of the seems in question with some wader repair goo and thought that I had it licked. Ice off, begining of season two, we hit the lake for a very early fish, some ice still floating in the middle. Off I went into the lake in my float tube, full of confidence that my new fix had my waders sealed and dry. WRONG. Immediatley I was full of very, very cold water. When i say full i mean the waders were full past my knees. I am not complaining, very reasonably priced set of waders, if you want to use them a couple times a year they are probably perfect. If you want the highest quality, you will have to pay a higher price. These are budget waders, you get what you pay for.

Bought these last week to replace my 5 year old Orvis waders that were beginning to look a bit tired after over 100 days fishing. I also wanted to get the built in gravel guards on the Bass Pro Shop waders.
The new Bass pro shop waders literally fell apart on day 1. They leaked at both the foot and the crotch. When I looked inside the legs I discovered that there were numerous locations where they weren't even glued. The seams on the booties weren't taped.
The boots I purchased were worse! Day 1 the sole on one of the boots came loose! Fortunately I had brought my old waders and boots and was able to finish the trip with them. Needless to say, I'm ecstatic that I saved my receipt and both items will be returned. I'll go back to my 5 year old Orvis waders and boots that actually work!

I bought these last year after returning another style that I wasn't happy with. The store representitives were more than happy to exchange them even with the only explanation of, "I didn't like them".
I'm sure there are always going to be defective waders being sold as there would be any other product. The upside of this is that they stand behind their's. You also get what you pay for. I think for the price ($149) that I paid, they were comparable to a pair from another manufacturer that I paid twice as much for. I have since bought these same waders for my sons and haven't had any issues.

I thought if I spent a bit more I would get waders that last more than 3 years, but unfortunately I was wrong. I do not use them a lot, only 4-5 times a year and take good care of them after each use. For the past year I've had a small leak that I can not find in both legs. I'm usually happy with my White River purchases, but this is not one of those times. I guess I need to spend a lot more to get into waders that have a good reputation and warranty.

Can these waders be used in conjunction with the white river float tub?If so, do they connect to the float tube??
thanks

I use them in my float tube all of the time. Any chest high waders will work. Just keep in mind that a little extra room in the waders doesnt hurt because you are in a sitting position as long as you are in the tube, you can stretch tight waders to the point of discomfort. If you intend on making many trips in waders you may want to consider a little more expensive set, these work well but you will be looking for another set in a year or two because the quality is just not that high, as indicated by the price. They are great for occassional anglers, but save yourself another purchase later if you are an avid fisherman because you will inevitably be looking for a replacement due to leakage.Details:Â
I am 6' and weigh in at 190 shoe size is a 12 to 13 dependant on mfg. My current waders are a XL and fit a bit loose with the exception of the boot. It seems that the stocking foot has srunk some and they are now uncomfortable. What wader do I go to to avoid this tight foot problem?Answers

Compared to the 3 or 5mm neoprene ones, a whole lot less. The only part that needs drying are the booties which don't take long. So traveling with these, I would guess it weighs a couple of pounds is all. The neoprenes to me weight triple to quadruple than these White River's.Answers

Yes, but don't do it. Read my review on the boots. Great waders, bad boots.Top 100 Contributor

I am 5foot 10 inches, wear a size 10 shoe and weigh 270 lbs. Do you have any waders that will fit?Answers
A:Â
I'm 6'0" -225lb with a 10 1/2 foot and wear the XL. I fit in the L but the legs were a bit tight when i squated. The bootie was a bit long on a bare foot but with socks and a size 12 wading boot it all works great.A:Â
I believe the White River dry waders in size: large will work because of your weight. I am 5'10" and weigh 205 lbs with a size 12 wide foot shoe size. The medium size fit me good (body wise) however, the booties were slightly tighter (when wearing thicker socks) on my feet but I'm breaking them in.Top 100 Contributor
