Just got back from a week long fishing trip from Colorado, bought these waders in a rush with low expectations but high hopes. I was extremely surprised with the quality and durability. The spring melt off was at its peak so hiking in to find calmer waters and pools was necessary. Wore these waders from the truck, down paths, off paths down steep rocky declines and inclines, over rocks through wild rose patches and dense brush, fell hip deep into a hidden irrigation drain and waded mid chest depth through the river with no leaks or failures! The hikes through rough terrain paid off with over 50 fish caught!! The fly shops we talked to said they weren't having much success which made the trip sweeter! These waders holding up to the abuse i put them through made it possible. Don't be fooled by the cost, these waders are the best purchase I've ever made at BPS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KEVINinCONCORD Great so far...size runs little big.
New to fly fishing and didn't want to spend a lot of money. Got on sale at BPS for $79.97 and I must say well worth the purchase so far! Only had out two time and I've had no problem. Love the fact they run a little big, plenty of room for layers yet not too big without.

First waders. Made a great choice! Went Steelhead fishing in the Salmon River two days after Christmas. Air temp. 40, Water temp. 37 Layered up underneath and good wool socks, I was in the water for over 5 hours, comfortably. Toes got a little cold but that was it. Stayed dry all day. I am not normally a review writer, but I did a lot of research before I bought these and thought this might help someone out as far as sizing goes. I am 6'1", hovering around 200#s, I wear a size 12 boot. I bought the XL size, and it fits like it was made for me. Plenty of room to maneuver but not baggy. Straps are good, pockets are good, zippers are good. Even got comments on the river from other fishers about how they liked the look and the pockets. I think that's saying something, too, considering that fly fishers can be a snooty bunch sometimes. I bundled these with the White River Extreme Wading Shoe, size 12. Great boots. Great traction. Fit perfect with 2pairs of socks.
