White River Fly Shop Indian Point Trout Nets
Not very durable
I got this net for Christmas 2 years ago. It seen a lot of use trout fishing from then until now. After about a year and a half, it started majorly falling apart. The handle split and the layers up the sides came apart really bad. I am happy to report that after some grit, spit, and a whole lot of Guerrilla Glue I think I'll be able take it back on the river again. Other than falling apart, it's been great. The holes in the netting don't cause your hook to get caught in the net as bad as some other nets.

I purchased this net specifically for trout fishing. Hooked about a 15" rainbow trout. The fish fit in the net nicely.
There are two things I didn't really like about this net. The treble hook that was on my lure completely got caught in the next making it very difficult to remove the hook from the trout's mouth and then removing it from the net.
The second thing is the quality. The wood handle itself and the net appears to be of good quality, but the stitching from the netting to the wooden handle seems a bit weak. I think over time, I will have to replace this net. Not a bad buy for getting the job done though.

Great little net
I bought this net on sale 3 years ago, $12.99. Great net for the price. The varnish has now worn off and the wood is starting to dry and crack, no big deal, I payed $13 for it. Tough and reliable. I use this net for everything, I fly fish from float tubes and pontoons, wade rivers and creeks, and use my boat. The only situation that I dont like this net is in the boat, its not long enough, but that isnt what its made for and i have a long handle aluminum net that lives in the boat. Works wonderfully with the BassPro magnetic release/stretch lanyard.

I bought this net for fly fishing and the "French Clip" that allows for attaching the net to your vest or pack is horrible. When I took the net out of the package the clip was already stripped out from the handle. I contacted returns and exchanged for a different net. The net itself looks to be very good but if you need it to clip to your pack, I'd be leery to purchase this one. Maybe I was unlucky and the net is generally fine. Bass Pro Shop was great to work with on the return.
