Rated 5 out of 5 by MADMike57 Fly Tying Not only is the video excellent but the Flies are excellent also. They are very good at attracting fish. Each time I've gone fishing, one or more of the flies have attracted fish. I haven't needed any other flies except for a scud. May 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by YouthElkHunterCO Great DVD for beginners I started fly tying a year ago, and got the trout tying kit. I got this free in it. I tie all the time with my dad. He says I have gotten to be real good. Even though its a beginners dvd i still watch it all the time. I love to watch lefry kreh talk about tools and attachment techniques. I like to follow along with mike huffman as he ties a fly. I find using so many of mike's & Lefty's tips that I now always make sure that I put them to use not only when I tie these flies but others to. It is a very detailed dvd and I suggest that if your a beginner or even an expert you should buy this video. It has so many details about tools and attachment techniques that I never knew about when I started. They have helped me to get better and still are. August 27, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by workhurts good buy Lefty's introduction covers lots of basics. Mike does most of the tying in this video. Bass pro did a good job with this video. The image and sound quality are decent. Instruction is straightforward and easy to follow. January 23, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dozerhand Thank you, Mike and Lefty! Mike and Lefty, thank you for an excellent DVD! This video is the perfect steppingstone in my pursuit of perfect flytying, for you have shown me, much better than words in a book, how to get past several mistakes I have made in this endeavour. I have been tying flies now for about a year and a half, and although I don't count myself an expert, I feel like I can really handle procedures that really frustrated me, like dubbing. Thank you again! January 16, 2009
