Good Buy I bought a pair of straight tips for when blu gills swallow my poppers. Before i would have to giggle them out and that would chip the paint which would in turn let the cork get water logged and then they would,nt float any more. These make it easy to remove the deepest swallowed hook. November 19, 2008
Great for small hooks! These forceps are fantastic for retrieving small hooks out of a fishes mouth. I use them for trout and panfishing and get the hook out every time. Absolutely essential for removing little treble hooks from trout when dough bait fishing!!! I do not leave home without them. January 10, 2009
Works for Swallowed Hooks! I have the curved hemos and they work great for swallowed hooks. They are very durable as i used these in Florida on Grouper and Snapper and didn't have any breaks or cracks or bends. November 8, 2008
Good Value Good, functional tool for the money. Haven't used for long enough to assess durability. Would like to see a version with flat-ground jaws (no teeth). June 7, 2011
