This has proven to be a great starter combo that is well setup for travel. The spinner reel will need replaced with moderate use, otherwise a great package. November 11, 2006
Rated 1 out of 5 by White River fly/spin travel combo I have purchased these travel packs. I did expect a better quality product. The spinning reel broke the first time I fished with it. I have purchased severl units but I have had only 1 bad experience. I hope that this was only a fluke. Now that I see others have the same misgivings I am afraid quality and my money is out the window. November 9, 2006

it is extemely light at most 2 lbs with case, they are all white river.
