Well put together kit. Everything is there to tie the saltwater flies shown. If you enjoy tying flies another vise will come soon but the included vise works ok.

I recieved this as a christmas gift from y wife, i have never tied a fly before or fly fished for that matter, but i am learning to fly fish now and am loving tying the flies, i don't know if any of them will work, but i am having fun making them. the only down side to the kit is it doesn't come with a bobbin threader.

Pros: Great beginner kit, many of the materials and tools you will need to get started. I had essentially no problem tying all of the flies that are given in the instructional dvd.
Cons: Not a huge deal, but I think they could have gone a step further and included a couple more materials/tools.
In any event, I think this is an excellent beginner kit and will definitely peak the interest of the future fly-tyer. Definitely assures that you will be going back to BPS soon to stock up on additional materials!
5/5 stars if it included a few more tying materials so that at least all materials were included for the DVD flies. Also could have used the small things like a bobbin threader, cement bottle that has a brush attached to the cap for easier application, fur brush, etc.

This is a complete kit perfect for your basic and must used saltwater flies deciever and clouser and a few others and you can make a few of each, the dvd is great for instruction and the materials are good. The vise is the weak point but it works and holds tight. Highly recommended
