This sock was heavy (I guess for protection purposes) but it was a fleece-like material that actually took up too much room in the rod case. I ended up NOT using it (and should have returned it). BPS used to make a lightweight rod sock that was much better suited to this case.

These work just as advertized and keep the rods organized and protect great. Price was super and are well made to boot. Will order more after my payday and recommend to friends. Keep up the great work & Good Fishing this year.

Best value I could find. Much better value than any of the fly rod socks on the internet auction sites. Highly recommended unless you are a talented seamstress and even then I doubt you could make one for less.

I bought three vintage Fenwick fly rods, none of which came with the original sock, so I needed a sleeve to protect these old rods. This product fits all three rods perfectly and is of good quality.
