The ability to maintain strength after a horrible shredding makes the White River Fly Shop® Fluorocarbon Tippet the material of choice for heavy and toothy fish. Additional advantages are that our high-quality fluorocarbon tippet is less visible to fish and the high sink rate allows this tippet to sink more quickly than other monofilament of the same diameter. 25 yards per spool.

  • Maintains strength
  • Ideal for heavy and toothy fish
  • High sink rate

Very good tippet New to fly fishing. I got Orvis fly rod set up and used this tippet so far can not complain very strong material. April 16, 2014
Very Good Product Purchased this after reading the reviews, and agree that this is a very good product...and the price makes it even better. I used it for the first Columbus Day weekend, and landed numerous salmon and brown trout. The biggest salmon was 19 pounds on 8 lb test. The 8 lb tippet was pretty frayed after being pulled over and around rocks in the stream by the salmon, and yet held until I was able to land the fish. Also landed a couple over 14 lbs on the 6 lb test. In addition, caught two brown trout, 11 lbs 3 oz and 11 lbs 12 oz, on the 6 lb test. Very impressed by this product, and will definitely buy more for my next trip to NY in 2 weeks. October 18, 2012
Trout fishing I just came back from Alaska and fished the huge rainbows. The 6lb test Fluorocarbon Tippet was great!! I will continue to buy this for all my trips September 12, 2007
Quality Product Used 10# for salmon fishing in New York Oct 12 in 50 degree weather and landed a 40"/23# and 38"/17#. The fight was on each fish for over 15 minutes each with one going under a log and having to net her from the other side. The line performed better than expected and thought I would break off the way I had to lean on them every so often. After running up and down the stream I had to drag the 40# of fish a mile up hill to the car but it was worth it. I now have purchased 8# and 6# test for Steelhead fishing and am anxious to see how it holds up in 30 degree weather as it will not stretch as much as it dit at 50 degrees. I usually switcm to straight Mono at 30 degrees to prevent line break. As fluorocarbon this is the best I have used. October 26, 2010
