they have a bunch of different feathers stuffed into a bag, I dumped it into a box and just rumage through for what I need. The kit included a bunch of feathers I have no idea how to use but it also included some really nice hackle either still attached to the skin or on a sewn backing.

lot of stuff for tying both trout flies and streamers or whatever . btw two packs i got three hen necks some pheasent tails a few larger saddle hackle patches some grizzly hackle (good enought for streamers a few parachutes and stuff. )white ostrich hurl peacock hurl some brown and black hackles im using for collars on prince nymphs and stoneflys the only thing keeping th score from a five is that when they pack the stuff there was a lot of damage to some of the feathers still even after i "creamed" the contents there was easily three to five times what i paid in usable material laying around

I loved this bag of feathers. It did not appear as impressive until you opened it. There were so many more than I anticipated for the price. I can't wait to dive into them for my creations.

I recieved this as a Xmas present. I was told it was ordered online & shipped. An assortment of fantastic materials to use for many ties. I was very happily surprised. I looked up the item on the website & was again pleased @ the price. You get alot for the $. So much was jammed into the bag that alittle was damaged. They fit alot into the bag. The result is a deal. These are the kind of bargains we all need. We like BPS & Johnny Morris' family oriented approach to marketing while providing good customer service and the occasional true bargain. JM provides a happy experience for patrons in his stores. We've made many large purchases over the years @ our local BPS and an occasional online order. We've had a few issues with them that they worked to resolve keeping us loyal customers and promoters. I've never written reviews but have to hand it to 'em. Good bargain w/this item.

depends what you get out of two variety packs i got three hen capes turkey tail feathers some larger grizzly hackle pheasent feathers and hen phesent wings /crown along with a lot of peacock hurl and white ostrich hurl . no hair or dubbing material though but great for getting alot of stuff that you may not think you would ever use in a lifetime. also a lot of larger buggar hackles and some hackles iv been using for prince nymph collars biggest issue is that the stuff is litterly packed so tight it damages some of the materials even so there good deals
