Around the world, fish-bearing streams are being compromised by invasive species introduced into new environments via boots and waders. That’s why we created ECO-CLEAR™ soles. Their unique construction—crushed walnut shells and a dynamic rubber compound—helps keep unwanted organisms from latching onto your gear, so you can fish any stream with an ECO-CLEAR conscience!
White River Fly Shopr® ECO-CLEAR™ Wading Boots for Ladies are equipped with eco-friendly ECO-CLEAR soles for stream protection and slip-resistant traction. Color: Green/Brown. Imported.

The ECO-CLEARâ„¢ Wading Boots for Ladies is a comfortable boot. I went up a size to accomodate an extra pair of heavy socks for winter fishing. The walnut chip enhanced sole proved ineffective on large slippery rocks. Once I added cleats/studs to the boots they performed well. The uppers offer good support and are holding up well. Given the challenge to find technology to replace felt affordably, I would buy and modify this boot again.

I purchased 2 pairs of these boots, 1 female and 1 male. As far as the boots go they are very comfortable and durable, but they are not nearly as slip resistent as the felt. My husband and I both have to be very careful walking in the water to keep from slipping down. Because of my health I don't have really good balance, my first pair of boots were the felt bottom and I walked really good in the water with those. Because of the slipping issue with these I have had to purchace another pair of boots with felt to make sure I don't fall in the water.

What size should you order if you wear a 1/2 size? Are the top two laces speed laces?Answers
A:Â
Always go big with stocking foot waders nothing like a extra pair of socks for comfort and warmth. as for the laces I own 4 pair of Wading boots all have speed laces but the rule of thumb is always try before you buy.Details:Â
Are the soles of thsese boots pre-drilled for studs to be added after purchase? From the review, sounds like I would have to add them also.Answers
